Previously, I first explained what index means, in this case, indexed means to appear or appear, so quickly indexed means it quickly appears (can be seen) on the Google search page.
After publishing an article on your website or blog, it will take some time or even days for Google to index (display) the article page on the Google search page.
That's because there are many new documents uploaded by Google every day from all websites/blogs in the world, including BloggerXW and your website or blog which is currently reading this article.
There are several things you can do so that new articles on your website/blog are quickly indexed (appear) on Google search pages, including the following.
1. Resubmit Sitemap
Resubmit sitemap is to resubmit the blog sitemap to search engines via the search console, by resubmitting the sitemap, search engines will know that there is a new page (article) on your website or blog then the search engine will immediately index it.
I also regularly resubmit the sitemap to the search console every time I publish a new article, especially to Google's Search Console so that the articles are indexed quickly, because Google is the main source of traffic for my blog.
2. URL Inspection And Request Indexing
In order for new articles to be quickly indexed on Google search pages, do a URL inspection and then request direct indexing, this method is faster and easier to do to speed up article indexing.
To do this, enter your search console dashboard, click URL Inspection, then in the search box enter the article url (canonical url), then click test live url.
If the indicator is green, click the request indexing button to request direct indexing, then wait a few moments for the page (article) url to be indexed.
3. Make Your Article Unique And Structured
Unique and structured pages (articles) are often indexed more easily on search engines like Google and Bing and get a good position (at the top) on search pages.
So in order for articles to be indexed quickly and to get good positions on search pages, make sure your articles are unique and structured, at least even if they are much similar to other sites, the point of view of your articles must be different.
4. Increase the Efficiency of Crawling and Indexing Pages
Crawling and indexing by search engines can be hampered by several things, but the most annoying are duplicate pages and pages that are not important on your website or blog.
Therefore we need to help search engines to simplify the process of crawling and indexing important pages on web.blog sites such as article pages.
There are several things we can do to increase the efficiency of crawling and indexing by search engines of the blog or website that we are managing, but here I will only explain 3 main points, namely;
- Putting the Carnonical URL tag on
<head>the site - Control non-essential pages with Robots.txt
- Optimizing website/blog Head Elements
5. Use Structured Data Markup
Structured data markup helps search engines, especially Google, understand pages (articles) better so that with structured data markup it is hoped that the crawling and indexing process on pages will be faster.
Besides that, structured data markup also aims to provide a signal to the Google search engine to display snippets that are suitable for your page or article (according to the Structured data markup that you use).
